In short
The phrasebook gives you 20 essential phrases in the language of the port you choose — from “hello” to “I need a doctor”. Each phrase has a listen button. Tap a phrase and it opens full screen in big letters, so you can simply show it to a taxi driver or shop assistant.

How to use it
- Open the page before you go ashore: mobile data in port can be slow or expensive. The page stays on your screen even without a connection.
- Not sure how to say it? Show the phrase on your screen — that’s what the big view is for.
- Audio uses your phone’s own voices. If there’s no voice for a language, the button simply doesn’t appear.
- “To the port, please” plus the port name from your cruise card or daily programme gets you back to the ship by taxi.
Frequently asked questions
Which language are the phrases for my port in?
The national language of the port’s country. If a second language is common — Catalan in Barcelona or French in Tunis, for example — a note above the phrases says so.
What about English-speaking ports?
For Miami, Nassau, Southampton and Malta the page shows English phrases — English is the main or a national language there.
Does the audio work offline?
It depends on your phone: on most smartphones the built-in voices work without a connection. If there’s no sound, show the phrase on your screen.
Can I print the phrasebook?
Yes. The Print button puts the phrases for the chosen language on a single page.
