In short
INsider Pricing is the member price: usually around 17% below the listed price on cruises, hotels and resorts, straight away, without waiting for points. You can see member prices as soon as you activate and book a cruise from 15 days after activation. In one booking you use either the member price or points — they do not stack.
Unlike a sale or a promo code, it's simply built into your membership: no promo code to hunt for, no minimum stay to qualify. It works as long as your membership is active (paid).
How It's Different From a Regular Discount
A seasonal sale or a coupon code is temporary and unpredictable — you either catch it or you don't. INsider Pricing works the opposite way: it's available every time you book, as long as your membership is active. You're not chasing a deal; the deal is simply part of what you pay for.
When You Can Start Using It
- You can see INsider prices right away. You can book a cruise 15 days after your membership is activated or reactivated.
- For cruises, bookings must be made at least 21 days before departure.
- You must be booking a trip you're actually traveling on — not reselling or booking for someone unrelated to you.
INsider Pricing or Reward Points
INsider Pricing and Reward Points don't combine on one booking — they're separate ways to pay, and you choose one when you book. With INsider Pricing you pay the club price, about 17% below the listed price, in money. With Reward Points you use your points instead: 1 point = $1. If you book 30 days or more before departure, points can cover up to 50% of the cruise price. If you book 270 days or more before departure, points can cover up to 100% of the cruise price (the All Reward Points method) — but only if you have saved up enough points, and the price match guarantee and Trip Protection do not apply to it. In that method the first half of the price is paid at 1 point = $1 and the second half at 2 points per $1: for example, a $4,800 cruise = 2,400 points + 4,800 points = 7,200 points. Which one works better depends on how many points you've saved and how far ahead you're planning.
