What you get

An icon on your home screen. Reislite opens like any other app — no need to type the address or search for it.
Full screen. No address bar or browser tabs, just the page.
Reading without internet. Pages you have opened are saved on your phone. Handy at sea, where ship Wi-Fi is often slow and paid, and abroad without roaming.
Always up to date. It is the site itself, so updates arrive by themselves. It takes almost no space.

How to install

Android

Open reislite.com in Chrome.
Tap ⋮ at the top right.
Choose Install app or Add to Home screen.

In Samsung Internet: ≡ → Add page to → Home screen.

iPhone and iPad

Open reislite.com in Safari.
Tap Share (the square with an arrow).
Choose Add to Home Screen, then Add.

If you do not see the item, scroll the list of actions down.

Computer

Open reislite.com in Chrome or Edge.
Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar.
Confirm with Install.

Safari on a Mac: File → Add to Dock.

Common questions

Is this an app from the App Store or Google Play?

No. It is the Reislite website saved as an app on your device. That is why it is free, needs no account and installs in a few seconds.

Does it see my data or contacts?

No. It has no access to your contacts, photos or location. It only stores the Reislite pages you have opened, so you can read them offline.

How much space does it take?

Very little: only the pages and pictures you have opened, usually a few megabytes.

How do I remove it?

Like any other app: press and hold the icon and choose Remove (or Uninstall).
