The short answer: the Caribbean for reliable sun; the Arabian Gulf and South America for the calm end of their seasons; the Canary Islands for spring blossom. For something different: the last weeks of the northern lights or Cape Horn.

What is special about March
- Easter at the end of the month. In 2027 Easter Sunday falls on 28 March; the Easter weeks are popular in the Caribbean and the Canary Islands.
- The end of the southern seasons. South America, Cape Horn and the Gulf wind down — calmer ships and quieter ports.
- Ships get ready to move. From late March and in April many ships cross the Atlantic back to Europe, a relaxed way to travel one way.
- The last northern lights. March nights are still dark enough, while the days are long enough to enjoy the snowy coast.
No flight needed
Until April MSC sails short Northern Europe cruises from Rotterdam and Hamburg. From April the summer season starts in Rotterdam, with the first fjord sailings.

To pay up to 100% with points, the booking must be made at least 270 days before departure — for a cruise in March, that is roughly June or early July of the year before — and you need to have accumulated enough points by then.
