How many points will I have by my cruise?

Choose a plan, the month you join and the month you want to travel. The calculator counts your Reward Points and shows how much of a cruise price they cover with each way of booking.

In short

On the CLASSIC plan, paying on time, you build up about 2,550 points in a year: 350 to start and 200 a month. That is enough to pay half of a cruise costing up to ≈ $5,100 in points — or, booking 270+ days ahead, a whole cruise up to ≈ $1,700. On PREMIUM the same year gives about 6,300 points.

How your points grow

Assumes each fee is paid within 5 days of the bill. Points are not money and cannot be cashed out; the dollar amounts show how much of a cruise price they can cover.

How the points are counted

  • Every fee paid within 5 days of the bill earns points: STARTER 50, CLASSIC 200, PREMIUM 500 a month.
  • When you join you also get starting points for registration, activation and the first fee: STARTER 100, CLASSIC 350, PREMIUM 800.
  • “Points + payment”: points pay up to half of a cruise price at 1 point = $1. You can book 30 days or more before departure.
  • All Reward Points: book 270 days or more before departure and pay the whole cruise in points. The first half of the price is 1 point per $1, the second half 2 points per $1 — so a $4,800 cruise takes 7,200 points.
  • You need the points at the moment you book, so the calculator counts them up to the booking month, not the cruise month.

Frequently asked questions

What happens to my points if I miss a payment?

For 30 days after the bill your points are kept. If the fee stays unpaid, they turn into Base Points: they never expire, but they give at most 17% off, and no new points are added until you restore your membership.

What can’t points pay for?

Flights, insurance, gratuities, excursions, drinks and personal spending on board, and change or cancellation fees. Points go towards the price of the cruise, hotel or resort itself.

Can I combine points with INsider Pricing?

No. For each booking you choose one: the member price paid in money, or points.

Why are the amounts in dollars?

Membership and points are counted in US dollars, so the calculator shows dollars too. If your card is in another currency, your bank does the conversion.
